Jeff Lytle, recently retired Naples Daily News opinion editor, has generously donated three unique items for us to raffle in support of our Press Club of Southwest Florida Terrence J. Miller Scholarship fund.

First prize is the winner’s choice between a replica of a Gutenberg printing press, or a book or a baseball, both autographed by renowned journalist and presidential nudge-par-excellence Helen Thomas. Whichever of those the winner leaves on the table will be awarded to the second and third names drawn.

Lytle kept the Gutenberg printing press in his NDN office for close to a decade. He received the baseball and book when he interviewed Thomas in 2000.

These raffle prizes will be on display at the October and November luncheons, during which tickets will be on sale. Purchase a ticket for $25 for one, $65 for three and $100 for five chances to win. Drawing for prizes will occur at our annual meeting and holiday party, Dec. 4.

You do not need to be present to win. The tickets you purchase will provide a way for you to designate your first, second and third choices.
