BBC's World Have Your Say

The ground breaking, live, global interactive radio program, where listeners set the agenda, was in Naples for the first time ever this week.

On Thursday, October 6th, in Sugden Plaza on 5th Avenue,

"World Have Your Say " show host Ros Atkins entertained a full house of participants, and hosted calls from around the world, praising and remembering Steve Jobs, the former Apple CEO who died last week

Atkins agreed with most commentators from Southwest Florida and around the world that Jobs left a lasting legacy on technology.

"He was a seminal figure in the role America plays in the technology race. I wonder just how many more Steve Jobs there are out there," one Naples resident remarked.

One reporter discovered that more than 50 per cent of the crowd had an apple product with them and many others said they wished they had one!

The following day the live show was broadcast from FGCU's campus.

World Have Your Say is broadcast weekdays from 1 – 2 pm on 90.1/91.7 FM , NPR for SW Florida
