June 4 Zoom Meeting ~ Voting by Mail in Southwest Florida: The Perils and Promise

Join us on Thursday, June 4, 2020, at noon for a free press club meeting featuring an insightful program and a chance to meet our scholarship students.

This year we may all have to vote by mail. However, voting by mail has become controversial given President Trump’s charges that it will be fraudulent. Is that true? Regional officials have considerable experience with voting by mail. During our noon June 4 online presentation, we’ll hear from election officials in Lee and Collier counties on their preparations for what is sure to be an influx of mail-in ballots. Join us as we explore how that will affect the 2020 elections in Southwest Florida.

Vicki Collins is communications director for the Lee County Supervisor of Elections.

Trish Robertson is public relations officer for the Collier County Supervisor of Elections.

Following the presentation, join us as we virtually welcome and meet our four new scholarship students and bid farewell to the three who are graduating.
