Press Club of Southwest Florida announces that the competition for its annual Young Journalist Awards is now open. To be considered, you must be a professional journalist aged 30 or under and in the first five years of working as a journalist.

One $500 prize will be awarded in each of three categories: Print or Digital Journalism; Broadcast; Photojournalism.

Details of what and how to submit are now being accepted on the NPC website and Facebook page. Entries must be received by August 31, 2019. Prizes will be awarded at the NPC December 5 luncheon.
