Phil Beuth
Press club governor-at-large Phil Beuth was the recipient of the first ever Temple Shalom Award for Social Justice. On Sunday, March 11, Phil was honored at a musical presentation “We Are One,” which was a tribute to solidarity, peace and social justice. Over 650 attendees came to hear this original concert and to honor Phil.
At a patron’s dinner given in his honor, representatives from Union College—Phil’s alma mater—and The Guadalupe Center, where he is the senior board member, spoke of Beuth’s generosity and the importance of doing good in the community.
Jamibeth Margolis, the creative force and director of “We Are One,” is the daughter of Press Club members Ida and Jeff Margolis.
