For any Press Club of Southwest Florida members who have been out of town—or under a rock—and missed the announcement, our very own Penny Fisher is now “interim executive editor” of the Naples Daily News. WOW!!!
Anyone who has ever worked with Penny, as we in this club have, knows that the term “interim” needs to be removed from this designation. She’s perfect for the job. She brings a wide range of editorial skills, years of excelling as a team player, and an attitude that can only be defined as positive. I wonder if she has ever allowed an “I can’t do this” thought to remain in her mind more than a nano-second. My guess is she has not.
Please let Penny know how proud of her you are.
