Press Club of Southwest Florida Luncheon Reservations Policy for 2015

Note: Advance reservations are encouraged and preferred for members, required for non-members.

RSVP by email: Members + Spouses/Significant Others (only) may contact; also mention “Alternative Meal-gluten-free or Vegetarian” if that is your preference. Payment is due at the door with cash, check or credit card. The RSVP and cancellation deadline is the Monday evening prior to the Thursday luncheon. No-Shows will be billed and will be expected to pay their luncheon charges IF THEY DO NOT CANCEL by the deadline.

Buy prepaid tickets online (through Eventbrite, PayPal): Members may buy tickets online; all non-member guests (other than spouses/significant others) must prepay by buying tickets online.

Walk-ins are discouraged and will only be accommodated if there are seats available at 11:30 a.m. after those with reservations/tickets are seated. Unexpected Walk-ins will pay a $10 surcharge.

Cannot make it. Or, your plans changed and you will be able to attend after all: Contact Reservations Chair Connie Kindsvater ( 239-249-4969) or Check-in Chair Karla Wheeler ( or 239-572-0607) if you have already made a reservation or bought a ticket, but you cannot attend for any reason, or if you find that you’ll be able to attend and you don’t have a reservation or ticket.

IF YOU LET US KNOW THAT YOU WILL NOT OR WILL BE THERE it greatly helps Press Club of Southwest Florida handle the seating. If you cannot attend but contact us by 10 a.m. the morning of the luncheon and NPC is able to fill your seat, you will not be billed for the normal no-show charge (for those paying at the door) or your Eventbrite ticket will be canceled and refunded, less the fee. If your plans changed and you want to attend at the last minute, contact us by 10 a.m. the morning of the luncheon and NPC will try to give you a seat and you’ll not need to pay the $10 walk-in surcharge.
