Press Club of Southwest Florida has received an invitation from Options Thrift Shoppe for a “personalized, after-hours shopping experience.” Available on weeknights from 5:00 to 8:00, this chance to browse for a minimum of 20 NPC members comes with a 20% discount on all merchandise.
If you are unfamiliar with Options, let me fill you in. First, it attracts donations of expensive designer fashions and accessories from some of our most stylish area residents. Second, the money from sales supports the Shelter for Abused Women and Children. ‘Nuff said.
With Hanukkah and Christmas not far away, we might want to shop till we drop at Options. We can even shop to augment our own wardrobes instead of merely to purchase gifts. How about both?
I KNOW we have more than 20 NPC members who would love to take advantage of this special offer. Our biggest hurdle is to determine what night works for the most people. I’ll look for your reply to this piece with your preferred night. Once I hear from a sufficient number, I’ll announce the night chosen in an e-blast.
