Members of the Board of Governors of the Press Club of Southwest Florida have expressed alarm about the ever-looming threat to freedom of the press as spelled out in an in-depth op-ed written by New York Times publisher A.G. Sulzberger and published recently in the Washington Post.
Board members said that Sulzberger’s piece, titled “How the Quiet War Against Press Freedom Could Come to America,” should be required reading for not only press club members, but for all Americans.
