Dr. Kristin Mascotti, Chief Medical Officer at NCH Healthcare System, is slated to speak at a virtual lunch-n-learn hosted by the Gulf Coast Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America. She will address healthcare communication in a time of unprecedented crises and misinformation.
As part of the ongoing partnership with PRSA, press club members are invited to join the free program, which is scheduled to begin at 12 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 28. There is no cost to attend, but registration is required.
Prior to joining NCH, Dr. Mascotti served as Chief Quality Officer with Long Beach Medical Center and Miller Children’s & Women’s Hospital in Long Beach. She led COVID-19 efforts at Long Beach Medical Center and previously had extensive experience with infectious diseases, including leading Ebola containment efforts. While at the University of Minnesota, she helped create the Special Pathogen Containment Unit for the state of Minnesota and Midwest region. The team received a significant federal grant, became CDC certified, and was awarded best practices for PPE and SWAT teams.
