Biographical Info
As president of the Emmy award-winning show “Good Morning America” for ten years, Philip R. Beuth worked for Capital Cities Communications for 42 years.
Working his way from the bottom as a film director, to a producer-director of news, to a general manager and eventually to a president’s position, Beuth retired from Capital Cities in 1986 when Disney bought ABC from them.
Beuth graduated from Union College and currently is a Trustee Emeritus.
He created the Beuth Foundation and is active in the Guadeloupe Center in Immokalee and also aids UNICEF.
Beuth is the scholarship committee chairman for NPC.
