WGCU invites press club members to purchase tickets to a special event at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point on Feb. 6, 2025, when the PBS member station hosts national NPR journalist Mary Louise Kelly.
Kelly is a globally recognized journalist, having reported from North Korea, Iran, Afghanistan, and beyond. A Harvard lecturer, a Georgetown University educator on national security, and a bestselling author, she’s been at the forefront of critical conversations that shape our world. She is co-host of NPR’s “All Things Considered” broadcast weekday afternoons on WGCU.
Kelly will share insights about her career, the challenges of modern journalism, and the critical role of staying informed in today’s fast-changing world.
A meet-and-greet with limited availability will be held from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. with the main event from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
Tickets are $150 for the early admission and $100 for Kelly’s presentation.
