It is with sad hearts that we let you know that our longtime Press Club member Phil Jason passed away following a long illness.
Funeral services will be held Friday, May 24, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Beth Tikvah, 1459 Pine Ridge Rd., Naples, and will be followed immediately by interment services at Palm Royal Cemetery, 6780 Vanderbilt Beach Rd., Naples.
In the early years of the Press Club, Phil served on the Board of Governors for several years, including as Vice President. For many years he chaired the highly successful Authors & Books Festival, which raised significant funds for the club’s journalism scholarship program.
