Dr. Stefanie Davis Kempton is an assistant professor of journalism at Florida Gulf Coast University. Her research interests focus on gender and the media. She has 15 years of professional journalism experience in both print and broadcast, including national appearances on ABC News, Fox Business, the Big Ten Network, and Bloomberg TV. Kempton is a two-time regional Emmy nominee and was previously on faculty at Penn State Altoona. She earned her Ph.D. in Mass Communications from Penn State University.
