Biographical Info
Karla is a former newspaper reporter/editor, business magazine editor, and editor of national geriatric physician journals. In 1999, she founded Quality of Life Publishing Co. as an outgrowth of her personal and professional experience with hospice. Her firm, which has 10 full-time employees, publishes a growing line of branded end-of-life care newsletters and booklets to educate clinicians, patients, and families. The firm’s non-fiction books consistently win national and state-wide awards.
A founding member of the NPC, Karla currently serves as membership chair.
She is a journalism graduate of Conestoga College in Canada.
