Based in Naples, Julie Pedretti is director of development for Nicklaus Children’s Hospital Foundation, creating awareness and raising funds for the Miami-based hospital. Previously, she was director of development of the Annual Fund & Communications for NCH Healthcare System Foundation in Naples, Fla. She is responsible for media relations, advertising, public relations, website and other social media, direct mail/email campaigns and other efforts to support donor acquisition and retention.

Previously, she served for a year in the marketing department at Lee Memorial Health System (Fort Myers, Fla.) and 12 years as director of public relations and marketing for Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, a 294-bed pediatric hospital headquartered in Milwaukee.

Pedretti’s other experience was as director of marketing for Aurora Advanced Healthcare, a 250-physician multi-specialty group practice in Milwaukee, and as vice president of programs and services for Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce, the state’s chamber of commerce.
