Biographical Info
Joel Banow is a retired television producer and director with over 50 years of award-winning experience. He began his television career in 1960 at CBS News. He worked on all of the space programs broadcast on CBS, receiving a DGA award for Apollo 11, the first lunar landing. Banow earned various Emmy nominations and awards for other CBS programs.
In Naples, Banow began developing arts programming at WGCU Public Media.
Banow serves on the board of The Naples Players, the Museum of Military Memorabilia, and is on the advisory board of The Holocaust Museum of Southwest Florida.
He is a founding member of the Naples Press Club.
