Biographical Info
After spending 25 years in the mortgage industry during the banking crisis of 2008 Cheryl moved to Istanbul, Turkey, for two years teaching English at a private high school. Due to the political situation and demonstrations, she ended up in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. There she founded a clinic for children with learning disabilities, which is still active. The clinic provides assessment and treatment in the fields of mental health and speech therapy. Her team is currently raising funds with All Ears Cambodia and the Khmer Sight Foundation to provide screening in public schools in Phnom Penh.
