Writing succinct reports for major corporations gave an important lift to Beadle’s writing interests: the need to hold a CEO’s interest delivering content he/she needed to hear, then sending the same information in a manner shop workers and unions could understand and accept rounded out the challenge.
Having an opportunity to speak to audiences of 30 to 3,000 around the U.S., Canada and other countries further shaped style and delivery of the intended message. Adding warmth and personalized examples was a challenge but, when successful, greatly improved how his story was received.
Finding the hook in stories helped him significantly in gaining acceptance by publications such as Fortune and the Wall Street Journal.
