Hurricane Preparation, Disaster/Crisis Management & Response – May 3 Luncheon

Hurricane season 2024 is fast approaching, and the Press Club of Southwest Florida has got you covered before, during, and after the storm. Join us for lunch and to hear guest speakers Zach Maloch, WINK News’ weekday morning meteorologist; Dan Summers, Director of Bureau of Emergency Services; and Eileen Connolly-Keesler, president and CEO of the Collier Community Foundation, as they take a look back at Hurricane Ian communications, emergency operations and philanthropic efforts to provide relief, rebuild and restore along with updates to how they are preparing for future storms.

  • 11:30-Noon – Guests Arrive/Networking
  • Event Concludes 1:30 p.m.
  • Follow Conservancy signs to Admissions and real estate event signs (toward entry Gazebo).
  • Parking is open. The closest parking is in Lot C.
  • Press Club representative will be at the Admissions/Entrance Gazebo to direct guests toward Eaton Conservation Hall.
  • Buffet Luncheon provided by Sunburst café, using bamboo plates and recyclable materials.
