About the Presentation

Did you know that the last time a Democrat won a general election in Collier County was more than 40 years ago? Did you know that Florida is a closed primary state, and why it matters? And — other than president — have you begun to think about what will be on your 2024 election ballot?

Sandy Parker

In this presentation, Sandy Parker will provide an overview of Collier County’s political environment, explain why the August primary is more important than the November general election, and review the many state and local races that will be decided in 2024.

Whether you are a new or long-time Collier resident, this lecture will help you be a more informed voter.
