According to industry analysts, 80 million people in the United States listened to a podcast at least once a week in 2020, and that number is projected to increase to one billion in 2024. From music to comedy to true crime, listeners spend an average of more than six hours a week listening to podcasts. And as podcast advertising approaches $1 billion in revenues this year, Spotify, Apple, Amazon, and other platforms are jockeying to become the number one destination for listeners. In short, podcasting has become big business!

Delia D’Ambra-Wheeler
Delia D’Ambra-Wheeler is the co-creative director and on-air host for Audiochuck Podcast Network. She is also an investigative journalist whose work is behind some of the world’s top true-crime podcasts, including “CounterClock,” “Park Predators,” “Dark Arenas,” and “Crime Junkie.” She has worked as a professional journalist for seven years, most recently at NBC-2 News and is a Press Club Board member.
Andrew McDevitt
Andrew McDevitt co-hosts “TalkinThe239,” a sports podcast that centers on local sports stars and what makes them successful. He has been producing digital sports content for over a decade and previously was a reporter with the ABC-TV affiliate in Fort Myers.
Seasoned travelers Tonya Denmark and Christina Sawyer are producers and hosts of “FloridaTravelPod,” a podcast covering fun things to do in the Sunshine State. From beaches to small towns, golf, fishing, nature, and cultural arts, they provide insight to visitors about what makes Florida a premier tourist destination.
Leading the discussion will be Board members Mark Young and Jill Jaffe and retired CBS Bureau Chief and Club member Larry Doyle.
