Press Club Members Invited to Join PRSA Chapter for Timely Election Program

Getting your political facts straight from the bombardment of broadcasts, advertisements, and social media about the 2020 candidates and deciding who to vote for is more important – and more confusing – than ever before. Join our local partner, the Gulf Coast Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), for a conversation on “Vetting Political Information in an Election Year” for insight into local and national elections. The event is being held on Zoom from 12 – 1 p.m. Tuesday, September 22.

Alan Horton and Sandy Parker

This lively conversation will be hosted by Alan Horton, former reporter for the Scripps Howard News Service Washington Bureau during the Vietnam War and Watergate era, as well as former editor of the Naples Daily News. The second panelist is our own Press Club member Sandy Parker, founder/publisher of Sparker’s Soapbox, a blog, website and e-newsletter that facilitates and encourages informed voting. Don’t miss this illuminating event as this promises to be an election year like no other!

This event will be offered at special pricing of just $10. Registrants will receive the Zoom webinar info after they register.
