Last Chance to RSVP for the June 4 Zoom Luncheon Meeting

Today is the last day you can register for Thursday’s free online Zoom presentation titled, “Voting by Mail in Southwest Florida: The Perils and Promise.”

This year we may all have to vote by mail. However, voting by mail has become controversial given President Trump’s charges that it will be fraudulent. Is that true? Regional officials have considerable experience with voting by mail. During our noon June 4 online presentation, we’ll hear from election officials in Lee and Collier counties on their preparations for what is sure to be an influx of mail-in ballots. Join us as we explore how that will affect the 2020 elections in Southwest Florida.

Vickie Collins

We will hear from Vicki Collins, communications director for the Lee County Supervisor of Elections, and Trish Robertson, public relations officer for the Collier County Supervisor of Elections.

During Thursday’s meeting, we will also meet several of our scholarship students, welcome new scholarship awardees, and bid farewell to those who are graduating.
